The post Start Planning Your New Years Resolutions! appeared first on The Players Club Blog.
]]>If you haven't gotten a chance to think about your resolutions for the upcoming new year, here's a list of ideas to help you prepare:
- BE MORE ORGANIZED.

Whether you decide you want to organize your schedule or Konmari your entire home, getting organized may require you to take a few baby steps before you can get into the swing of things in the new year.Try starting out the perfect daily or monthly planner to keep your daily to-do lists, work meetings, and dinner dates in order! The GO PLANNER, created by Berteau and Co., is not only a daily planner to keep your schedule organized, but it features additional monthly to-do pages where you can set your monthly goals and keep your New Years Resolutions on track!
- GET IN SHAPE.

One of the most popular new year's resolutions is to get in shape or just be more active. Rather than fighting for a treadmill at a local gym, did you know The Players Club of Brentwood Apartments offers an on-site fully-equipped Fitness Center FREE for all residents to use?
- EAT HEALTHIER.

Eating healthier and getting in shape almost go hand in hand. Sometimes when you start with an extreme diet, you may find yourself back to your old eating habits. Rather than depriving yourself from everything you may have indulged in during the holiday season, ease into healthier eating habits by cutting down on your portion sizes, reducing the amount of times you go through drive thru or slowly cut out certain junk food or sugary drinks from your diet.Luckily, with the internet in the palm of our hands, it is much more easier to find healthy and delicious recipes! Check out allrecipes.com's healthy recipes page for ideas!
- READ MORE BOOKS… ACTUAL, PHYSICAL BOOKS!

With so many digital distractions in life, like social media or movies and television shows to binge watch on your favorite streaming service, try to take a little time out of your day to read a book…the paper kind that you can hold. We have screens in front of us all time, that even book readers can be a distraction from really getting immersed in a good book. To start, choose a book over a topic that might interest you, one of your favorite books that you have not picked up in a while or even a book that a movie or television show was based off of to help you get an actual book back in your hands!
- GET SOME QUALITY SLEEP.

Life and distractions may get in your way from getting good, quality sleep. To help you get your much needed zzz's to get you through the day, try turning off your tv or electronic device, limit your caffeine and/or food intake a few hours before bed. This can help get your body relaxed and ready for bed.

Transfer the cookie (still on parchment) to a wire rack and let cool for at least 15 minutes. Meanwhile, in a large bowl, whisk together the jam and lemon juice. Add the berries and toss to coat. Using an electric mixer, beat the cream cheese and sugar in a large bowl until smooth, about 1 minute. Add the whipped topping and beat to combine. Spread the cream cheese mixture onto the cooled cookie, leaving a 1⁄2" border. Top with the berry mixture.
